Unfortunately, caring for curly hair can sometimes be quite a challenge. It’s amazing, but really unusual products can help you deal with this problem. For example, to make your locks heavier, you should apply a moist scented soap.

Another thing you can use is a lip balm that works just like hair wax and helps you deal with difficult-to-style hair. If you have more time and want a more complex solution to the problem, you can make a gelatin mask that can straighten your hair.

You will need:

  • some gelatin powder;
  • hair balm;
  • mineral water (not necessary);
  • egg yolk (not necessary).

Mix 1 tablespoon of powdered gelatin in 3 tablespoons of water (you can use mineral water for best results). Make sure all the gelatin is dissolved (the mixture may need a bit of heating) and add some hair balm.

To strengthen your hair, you can also add an egg yolk. Cool the solution and apply it to the hair, a few inches from the skin. Then put on a shower cap and cover your hair with a towel for 40 minutes. This mask will leave your hair shiny and soft.

4. Choose the Right Type of Brush.

As you have probably already noticed, the health of the hair depends on the mechanical manipulations that you perform. So of course choosing the right hair brush and using it correctly is vital if you want healthy hair.

When your hair is dry, experts recommend using a massage brush. Besides brushing the hair well, these brushes also massage the head, which is very helpful for the hair follicles. It also spreads the sebum produced by the skin and that gives shine to the hair.

Wet hair should not be brushed as it is very vulnerable to damage. However, you can still do this, but only after it has dried a bit. It should be a wide tooth comb and you should be careful not to remove matted hair.

Hair is mostly made up of protein and amino acids, and eggs are packed with these elements, making them one of the best things to use if you want beautiful hair.

Egg yolk strengthens and softens the hair, prevents hair breakage, and stimulates its growth. Honey is a great hair conditioner that leaves hair very soft. Castor oil is known to stimulate hair growth.

You will need:

  • 2 tbsp castor oil;
  • 1 egg yolk;
  • 1 tbsp organic honey.

You must mix the ingredients well, apply the mixture on the hair and massage the roots carefully. Then wrap your head in plastic wrap or wear a shower cap and leave the mixture on your hair for a few hours.

Then wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner. Repeat the procedure 2 times a week and only a few months later you will notice an impressive result of your effort.

This method will not help you get rid of split ends because it cannot repair them as effectively as a jelly mask. But it’s great for treating dry ends and it’s good for gradually treating split ends if you use this method regularly.

So it’s very simple: before washing your hair, apply a little balm to the ends. And as for the roots, shampoo as usual and lather all of your hair. The point is that the balm does not let the shampoo be too aggressive on the dry part of the hair and does not allow it to affect more damage.

Also, there is another option: use a conditioner before washing your hair, not after. This method is believed to be excellent for hair structure.

Aspirin is known for its ability to relieve pain from minor injuries and is also considered an effective ingredient in many beauty recipes. One of the uses relates to the health of the hair, specifically the scalp. Aspirin can be used to fight dandruff.

What you should do is crush several tablets, mix them with your usual shampoo and apply it to the scalp. Leave the mixture for a few minutes and then wash it off well.

Then massage a mixture of aspirin and hot water on your scalp, let it sit for 10 minutes, and then wash it off. Then dry your hair carefully with a towel. Aspirin contains salicylic acid, which is used in many anti-dandruff shampoos.
